It was in 1974 that a group of women gathered at the Teachers Federation for the ‘FORUM: WOMEN AGAINST THE VIOLENT SOCIETY,’ and started a movement that became the domestic and family violence sector, so it is fitting that we will all be gathering here on our 50^th year anniversary. 'Past, present and future’ will be an amazing two days of sharing, learning and networking that brings the sector together in a common purpose of connecting and discovering.

With an incredible line up of subject matter experts, practitioners, speakers, panellists, and people with lived expertise we will lean into our history with stories from the past, we will look at the issues we are facing today and will look forward to what the future could hold. We would also like to invite you to join the team and our special guest speakers at the end of day one of the conference to celebrate and acknowledge 50 years of the domestic and family violence sector over drinks and canapes.
